East Riding of Yorkshire Council engaged Mason Clark Associates Building Surveyors to assess the building fabric issues of damp penetration and general external fabric weathering wear and tear, including erosion of the external stonework, in order to come up with a scheme of repairs and lead detailing, to protect the structure and prevent further deterioration.

We produced a scheme of repairs made up into a full Schedule of Works and a formal NEC Contract were produce for tendering on the YORbuild Framework.

Individual mid-tender site meetings were undertaken with all bidding contractors, to communicate the detailed requirements of the project.

Following the tender exercise, Hobson & Porter were the winning Principal Contractor. Hobson & Porter engaged Specialist Lead work contractor Pinnacle, and the detailed work produced some great results and protection of the fabric of the building for years to come.

Mason Clark Associates managed the whole process, Project Management, Contract Administration, Site inspections through to completion and handover back to the client.
