Mason Clark Associates are providing the structural lead on the extension and repair works at Oswaldkirk Hall, North Yorkshire.
Our York Director, Gez Pegram, is on the Conservation Accreditation Register and has provided the engineering design input to the refurbishment of this fine Grade II* stately home, dating from the 1690s. The work has included initial investigations through to detail design of both the interventions to the historic fabric and the new construction.
The major refurbishment, nearing completion on site, includes the demolition of a recent rear wing, the construction of a traditionally styled extension and external repairs to the roof, which has been severely dilapidated due to water ingress and severe decay. Drainage repairs and external landscaping are also part of our scope.
